Newsday (Ireland) 4 May 2017 | 06:04:39 Irish Prime Minister Enda Kenny said that the world’s most expensive glass would not be made in the country.
“We are certainly not anti technology,” Mr Kenny said.
“There is a glass industry here in Ireland that has made the glass in this country for hundreds of years.”
Mr Kenny also said that Ireland was not going to “turn the corner” in its climate change plans because the country has a lot of “others to do”.
“We have the world-leading position in renewable energy and there is a lot more to do,” he said.
Mr Kenny will attend the United Nations climate change conference in Paris on Thursday.
