The UK’s biggest online retailer has revealed its online ordering service will launch later this month.
Amazon UK said on Monday it would now start accepting orders for glasses online through its app, which it says is available in the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
It is the first time Amazon UK has opened a UK-based online ordering option.
The retailer also has a UK store, but that only launched in June.
Amazon said it plans to offer online ordering for other goods in the coming weeks.
The company says the app will be available in 20 countries, including the UK, US, Australia, Germany, France, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Turkey and Russia.
The new service is part of a broader shift in the way online shopping operates in the UK.
In March, Amazon opened its first online store in London.
The retailer is currently one of the most profitable online retailers in the world, with annual sales of £17.9bn ($21.9b) for the first half of 2018.
